The Virtual World of Haute Living

The new advertising campaign for “The Power of Print” says:

“We surf the Internet. We swim in magazines. The Internet is exhilarating. Magazines are enveloping. The Internet grabs you. Magazines embrace you. The Internet is impulsive. Magazines are immersive. And both media are growing.”

The ads, which feature Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, are running in national publications like Vogue and Esquire, and can also be seen at powerofmagazines.com. Which is apropos, as both mediums are thriving. Haute Living is thriving, too, in print and online. We launched our new website in September 2009 and quickly climbed to the top of the rankings. According to independent sites like Alexa and Conquer, we are already the No. 2 luxury site on the web—quite the feat for an eight-month effort.

But it’s been quite the effort. The new www.HauteLiving.com enhances and complements the information included in our print editions, and provides us with an outlet to cover aspects of the luxury lifestyle that may not make it into the magazines due to space and time.

Here are the reasons www.HauteLiving.com should be your homepage:

Haute Living Magazines

Haute Living publishes bimonthly regional editions in Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. While some of the content appears in each edition, the majority of the articles are unique to their market, as we honor our commitment to being the premier source for information about the regional luxury lifestyle. That includes profiles of local celebrities and notables whose appeal spreads outside of the distribution area. This is why all of our articles appear online, and not just from the current issue—all of Haute Living’s archives can be seen at www.HauteLiving.com/archives. Profiles of Donna Karan, Valentino, Richard Branson, Francis Ford Coppola, Joe Montana, Margrit Mondavi, Gordon Getty, Michael Bay, Brett Ratner, Sumner Redstone, Clive Davis, Don King, Russell Simmons, Shaquille O’Neal, Donny Deutsch—all available with just a click of the mouse. Happy reading.
