Arizona hosts two gorgeous Ritz-Carlton resorts now, the first one being the classic Biltmore residence, in operation for as long as anyone can remember, and now the second with the opening at Dove Mountain. The opening has been very exciting as this new Ritz location is outside of anything remotely urban, and is surrounded by the peaceful, rustic, desert landscape people associate with Arizona, setting the scene for the ultimate resort experience.
The Ritz-Carlton at Dove Mountain is boasting activities such as amazing hiking opportunities in the surrounding landscape, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf, and all the countless amenities afforded by the Ritz Carlton brand. The resort hosts a handful different signature dining opportunities. CORE kitchen is home to chef Joel Harrington with a menu showcasing American cuisine with regional influences and an extensive wine list. Ignite is the gastro-pub influence eatery with fiery dishes and a fun atmosphere. Turquesa Latin Grill is the amazing poolside grill people can drop in at between swimming dips. Cayton’s, named for the poet Eugene Cayton, gives guests a taste of Southwest comfort foods while TO/GO is a quickie barista for hotel guests to frequent at will.
Besides the great dining options, the spa at Dove Mountain is truly incredible featuring small rooms for couples and small group treatments, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and an outdoor Serenity pool terrace where guests are able to view ancient Native American carvings in nearby rocks. This is not something any other Ritz-Carlton can provide, and we’re so happy to host this truly unique resort. If the goal of a spa is to relax it’s patrons and create an environment of peace, there really is no better way to do so than to place it among ancient Native scenery in the quiet in-between of major cities.
