YSL Edition Unisex 2010 at Bal Harbour Until Sunday

And you thought this weekend was going to be all about unusually large furry rabbits, pastel-colored hard-boiled eggs, and mounds of shiny fake grass. No no luxury lovers. We have much more in store for you on what is shaping up to be another gorgeous weekend in the Magic City, and let’s just say the kiddies won’t be the only ones hunting for goodies.

We are directing all of our favorite fashionistas to arm themselves with their preferred plastic card—one with no limit is our recommendation—and trek on over to the Bal Harbour Shops where Yves Saint Laurent has introduced creative director Stefano Pilati’s Edition Unisex 2010. There are only 19 limited edition looks, which have been defined as gender bending, so we suggest a strategic plan for getting your hands on one, if you haven’t already. Our plan of attack will certainly involve some bites and beverages at Segafredo or The Newsstand by Books & Books, either before, or after, the shopping extravaganza.

YSL’s collection will be available at Bal Harbour until the day that Peter Rabbit comes hopping down the bunny trail (that means Sunday, April 4). Pilati derived inspiration for this set of apparel for women, from his menswear show. The jackets are boxy and double-breasted and the cut of the pants ride high. However, feminine touches were not forgotten, as he mixed in corsets and lingerie-style pieces throughout.
