New York-based brand Vena Cava, popular with fashion editors and Brooklyn hipsters alike, will be launching a printed T-shirt collection for Fall 2010. Beloved for their fashion-forward yet simple pieces and quirky detailing, the line will be a perfect complement to any wardrobe in need of basics with a twist. Designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai have dubbed the line “Viva Vena” which will feature Vena Cava’s signature hand-drawn prints and photo collages printed in organic cottons and jersey Ts. The line will be priced within the $200 range and debut in July selling in stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman and online retailers Shopbop.com and Lagarconne.com.
