Rare Motorcycles Plus The Quail Lodge Golf Club Equals a Great Time

This goes out to all you luxury motorcycle enthusiasts out there. The Quail Motorcycle Gathering is coming to Carmel Valley, California and you are cordially invited. On May 8, you will have the opportunity to see motorcycles from different eras, including the showcase of the “World’s Fastest Electric Motorcycle,” which topped out at an incredible 166 mph, and a meticulously restored 1974 Ducati 750 SS, the last new bike of its kind sold in the U.S. And with event sponsors that read like a who’s who of luxury brands, including Rolls-Royce, Rolex, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, and Bentley, this is surely one not to miss.

The Quail Motorcycle Gathering is made possible by The Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club and is the sister event of The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

“We have always highlighted motorcycles at our premier automobile event in August, but with so many incredible bikes in the world, it was time to create an entirely separate event that solely focused on the art of the motorcycle,” says Courtney Porras, signature events director at Quail Lodge.

Accompanied by the breathtaking scenic backdrop of Carmel Valley, guests can enjoy and appreciate some of the world’s rarest motorcycles while taking in the beauty that surrounds them. While you make your way around the different vendors, collectors, and enthusiasts, live music will have you jamming, and the aromas of a Southern-style barbecue lunch will have your mouth salivating. This all-day event also offers an auction by Bonhams & Butterfields, where you can walk away with plenty of goodies like rare motorcycles and memorabilia.

On May 7, The Quail Motorcycle Gathering will kick off with a scenic 100-mile motorcycle tour through the winding roads of the Monterey Peninsula and finish off with an exclusive dinner. Tickets for this portion of the event are $250 per person; however space is limited to the first 50. So mark your calendars and gather the family for a fun-filled day of motorcycle art, culture, and history.
