Nove Italiano at the Palms Goes High Society for Brunch

Brunch just got a little more chichi. Nove Italiano at the Palms is starting up High Society every Sunday at 1 p.m. beginning April 11. Think of it as your late-hangover brunch where you rub elbows with the über-rich.

The brunch menu at High Society from chef Geno Bernardo includes stations for salad, fresh fruits and fish or you can create your own frittatas. Look for Italian sausage and pepper hash; crispy pancetta and chicken apple sausage; a variety of poached eggs served with crab cake, spinach and béarnaise sauce; or long-cooked greens mixed with a fontina cheese and fonduta. Other warm items include pizzas and panini sandwiches. You can pair brunch with $99 bottles of champagne and half bottles of spirits.

Resident deejays Zen Freeman and Mark Stylz spin on the turntables while roaming live musicians play and a painter offers complimentary tableside guest portraits.

Nove Italiano is perched at the top of the Palms’s Fantasy Tower, giving you some of the best views of The Strip. The restaurant decor blends classical and modern elements in the dining room and the kitchen. A few steps from the hostess stand sits the lounge and bar, lined with a wall of purple-tinted mirrors. Next to the lounge sits the main dining room, illuminated by dramatic LED Swarovski crystal chandeliers hanging from a multi-vaulted ceiling covered in high-gloss brass-and-steel mosaic. A private dining room is slightly elevated, while the mezzanine level provides the most dramatic views of the entire restaurant.

The High Society buffet brunch costs $30 per person. For reservations, call 702-942-6800.
