Hublot CEO Welcomes Back Brand Ambassador Bode Miller from His Olympic Wins

There are few luxuries in life that are as exquisite as the timepieces that come from the hands of the experts. The name Hublot exudes the type of expertise that we are referring to, so when the watchmaker has big announcements, we make sure to perk up and pay attention.

On Friday, April 23, Cipriani Wall Street’s Club 55 will be the place to find Hublot head honcho Jean-Claude Biver, as he welcomes back Olympic Gold Medalist and brand ambassador Bode Miller for a special “Reliving the Gold” press conference. The partnership between the luxury watch brand and the golden boy of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics began before Miller took home a gold, silver, and bronze, making him the most decorated U.S. Olympic skier. So considering that Hublot has been cheering on his Olympic dreams, it only makes sense that Biver would feel a bursting sense of pride at Miller’s recent successes. In March he commented, “[Miller] has become a part of the Hublot family and to see him achieve this historic feat is very emotional.” No doubt his official welcome back party on the 23rd will be quite an emotional event as well. Adding to the excitement of Miller’s return will be the fact that this will be the brand’s premiere of its Hublot Basel 2010 collection in the U.S.

It’s been quite a successful few months for Hublot, as they reported that the last quarter of 2009 was the best in company history, while January and February marked its best opening months. Expansion plans are in the works as well, with new boutiques slated for Bal Harbour, Boca Raton, Saint-Tropez, and the Bahamas.
