Last year’s inaugural Fashion’s Night Out was a smashing success. With late-night revelry all over Manhattan, the fashion industry achieved their goal: to get every fashion loving, scene-hopping social from Uptown to Downtown on the streets, and in the stores. Everyone from Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue to 3.1 Philip Lim in Soho opened their doors to the chic set, pouring cocktails, spinning tunes and welcoming some fabulous A-list guests.
But the party wasn’t the only success of the night. The FNO t-shirts sold out within days, and both lower east side hipsters and upper east socialites interpreted the tee to make it their own. This year, the folks behind Fashion’s Night Out have updated the design, and added new styles including long-sleeve and hoodie sweatshirt versions. They won’t be available to the public until mid-August, but wholesalers are placing orders now. 40 percent of the proceeds from the collection of shirts benefit the NYC AIDS fund.
This year’s Fashion’s Night Out takes place on September 10 in New York City.
