Dinner Bells Will Be Ringing: Wedding Receptions at the Wrigley Mansion Offer Sensational Cuisine

Weddings and receptions at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix are for couples who want their special day to include Old World elegance, breathtaking views of the surrounding area, and sophisticated, delectable cuisine. Able to offer brunch, lunch, and dinner service, the Wrigley Mansion Club offers just about everything a bride and groom could hope for in a reception.

A one-hour bar and a gorgeous wedding cake are included in brunch and lunch services, with passed hors d’oeuvres also included for dinner service receptions. And for the most extravagant culinary affair, dinner service is the clear choice, with more than 30 hors d’ouevre options to start, including mouthwatering stuffed mushroom caps with goat cheese and pine nuts, and tenderloin wellingtons with a bearnaise sauce. But that’s nothing to prepare guests for what comes next.

After wedding guests are seated, dinner begins with one of five salad choices – for example, the baby spinach salad with caramelized Spanish onion, portobello mushrooms, feta cheese, and a citrus, Applewood-smoked bacon vinaigrette – and then continues with guests choosing from two entrees. No doubt the bride and groom will have had a difficult time narrowing the entree options down to one or two from the nine world-class dishes suggested by the Club, such as Crab Imperial-stuffed chicken breast with champagne sauce and fennel rice pilaf, herb-crusted salt water sea bass with sauteed spinach and a ginger-orange butter, and a grilled New Zealand rack of lamb with jasmine-lavender rice and apricot gastrique. The Club also offers four combination plates, such as a petite filet mignon with buttered lobster tail and roasted garlic potatoes, as well as grand wedding buffets, and of course, vegetarian dishes upon request.

And if guests can manage to save any room for dessert, they’ll have the opportunity to try a wedding cake by acclaimed Pastry Chef Judy Palmer, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, and former pastry chef of the Cannes Film Festival. Chef Palmer allows the bride and groom to tailor their wedding cake to perfectly suit their personalities, giving them the opportunity to choose a flavor (chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, carrot, lemon, and more), a filling (mousses, bavarian creams, truffles, and ganaches), and an icing (cinnamon buttercream and chocolate fondant, among many others).

No doubt the bride and groom, as well as their special guests, will remember the spectacular evening for many, many years to come. Beaucoup de bonheur!
