The Hotel on South Beach Gives More, More, More

In the world of hotels, more is more. The Hotel on South Beach, owned by Goldman Properties, has a new (oceanfront) addition to the family. The hotel has added 20 new deluxe rooms and suites to its already impressive 53 units. Two of the 20 new rooms include 850 square feet two-bedroom oceanfront terraces. The hotel, a three story boutique hotel located at 800 Ocean Dr., officially opened January 2010.

“This expansion brings The Hotel right to the ocean and deepens the choice of room types,” the Goldman’s said. “We have the variety of shapes and sizes that fit all of our various guests’ needs.”

Visionary Designer Todd Oldham was called upon yet again to give the new property’s interiors a different style while staying true to its original design. Oldham said his vision for the new hotel, “reflects Miami’s awe-inspiring sunsets, with a distinctive warm palette of red, coral, and orange, balanced by touches of gray and brown.”

The Goldmans first introduced The Hotel 11 years ago, and after all these years, considerable efforts are still spent in keeping the property as pristine, fresh, and beautiful as ever. The Hotel is also known for their award-winning restaurant, Wish, headed by renowned chef Marco Ferraro. Other accommodations include a remote 42” flat screen cable television with movie channels, IPOD stations, mini bar, wireless Internet, and a two-line telephone with voice mail technology.
