LudoBites Is Back, But Not For Long

Trying to track down Ludovic Lefebvre and his famed fried chicken is a challenge not for those with a weak heart or an uninspired palate.  The tattooed, bad boy French chef who’s been nominated for a James Beard Award, has worked with Pierre Garnier, and made a memorable appearance on Top Chef Masters last year is popping up again downtown as of April 8.

His pop-up concept restaurant, LudoBites, has been seen everywhere from Breadbar to Royal/T in Culver City and he even adopted, temporarily of course, a Ludo Fried Chicken truck last month.  From April 8 through May 28, you can find him (and if you intend to, you should book now) at Gram & Papa’s in Downtown LA.  Everyone who has tasted his cuisine (once they’ve worked up an appetite just trying to find him) agrees that Ludovic knows what he’s doing in just about any kitchen, including makeshift ones set up in the middle of a gallery room at Royal/T.

So make your reservation now and be sure to head downtown with a plan to indulge – it will be significantly less fun to have found LudoBites while on a diet.  Unless you’re on a Fried Chicken diet, in which case…
