The Queen of Fur, Helen Yarmak (whose designs have been featured in Haute Living Magazine), hosted a very glamorous night on Wednesday, February 17th at the Crown Building in New York City as she unveiled an exclusive preview of her Fall/Winter 2010-2011 fur and jewelry collections.
The event was held during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week with some high-profile personalities in attendance, including celebrity stylist Patricia Field, and Olympic Gold Medalist Oksana Baiul.
Yarmak has adorned the likes of singers Beyonce and Rihanna, actress Chloe Sevigny, and even renowned director and cinematographer Steven Spielberg.
Her showcase wasn’t short of glamor, as it included luxurious furs for the new Fall/Winter seasons that included sable, mink, chinchilla, and broadtail in various degrees of vibrant colors. The event also featured diverse forms of entertainment including a live jazz band and a classical musical act.
Yarmak’s show also managed to include an exclusive art presentation by Barry Meisil, BMV Fina Art, and LLC with works by Andy Warhol, and Roy Lichtenstein, among many others.
Guests didn’t leave hungry either. They devoured on gourmet bites provided by Opia Restaurant and sipped on cocktails by Akvinta Vodka.
