What MADE Them Haute The father-son duo is the No. 1 retailer for Audemars Piguet and Hublot in America. Bobby made Palm Beach history by becoming the youngest storeowner on Worth Avenue at age 19. Today, their 20-plus year reputation in the industry means that East Coast Jewelry is the go-to for gold (and exquisite and rare timepieces) for luxury-lovers in the know. The Yampolskys also give generously to a number of Jewish causes.

What Makes Them Haute Now: The Chairman. Bobby teamed up with Morten Nielsen to found SCI Innovations, which is the company behind the forthcoming Ulysse Nardin Chairman luxury hybrid smart phone. The recent announcement that the Chairman will feature the Google Android mobile software platform amped up interest in the device. The sleek, hand-made phone/watch combination includes customized Ulysse Nardin features, incorporating the first mechanical watch rotor into a phone’s design. With the integral designs of an automatic watch, the smart phone offers the ability to charge a built-in battery using the kinetic energy of its moving rotor. As a nod to the year of Nardin’s founding year, only 1,846 of each model will be created, and worldwide interest is high. So Yampolsky and Nielsen also founded UN Cells Ltd., which manages the worldwide sales and distribution of the Chairman. Smart. Which, of course, is haute.
