Drai’s Anatomy…of a Perfect Evening

It seemed like it was just another fab night at the newly minted W Hollywood (a project so innovative and ambitious that we profiled it in the newest edition of Haute Living Los Angeles). The weather was stellar (77 degrees) and the girls were gorgeous. But on this particular evening, something was a little different. Ryan Seacrest was there and so was Jamie Foxx, which could only mean one thing. The big night had finally arrived: This was the grand opening of Drai’s, the new nightclub atop the hotel.

Victor Drai, father of the Las Vegas after-hours scene and overseer of what’s next, has just opened his latest nightlife coup, which is certain to lure the best and most beautiful in the Los Angeles environs.

Seacrest and buddy Randy Jackson popped in after shooting American Idol down the street—they had a little dinner with Drai, who also was entertaining the illustrious Elaine Wynn and attorney Robert Shapiro.

Carey Hart and his recently reconciled wife, Pink, drank Patron on the rocks with professional skater Rob Dyrdek, while supermodel Erin Wasson came over to the table to hang too.

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx and wide receiver Terell Owens danced on tables with a plethora of lovely ladies—and never once took their sunglasses off while Wilmer Valderrama and BFF Brody Jenner circled the pool before settling at their table and drinking Belvedere.

At the same time, Nicole Scherzinger was enjoying Champagne and dancing by the pool with singer Avril Lavigne.

Late night musicman (and future Haute Living cover star!) Quincy Jones, showed up, chatting with Chris Tucker and Drai, celebrating the opening in the uber exclusive private room.
