The winter Olympics doesn’t usually showcase the hottest Olympians, but they sure do have some of the hautest.
When most people think of the Winter Olympics, they often don’t consider the financial success some of these world-class athletes experience. And why would they? Many of them do not compete in sports with large followings (Hockey excluded), and pretty much all of them are thrust into the primetime world of sports only once every four years. Yet despite that fact, this years Winter Olympians aren’t doing too bad for themselves.

So just in case you were ever wondering who is really skiing and skating their way to success, here is the list of the top 10 winter Olympians with the biggest net worth according to Forbes Magazine.
1.) Shaun White– Boasting Carrot Top hair and a wide smile, this talented snowboarder (who is young enough to probably still remember puberty) is bringing in some serious paydays. Thanks to endorsements ranging from video games to snowboards, Shaun White tops our list of hautest winter Olympians with a net worth of $7.5 million.
2.) Kim Yu-Na– Comes in a close second. This teenager managed to break a few records this winter Olympics in figure skating and has since landed some major endorsement deals. Her net worth is estimated at $7.5 million.
3.) Lindsey Vonn– Golden locks and all, Vonn made a name for herself by becoming the first American female alpine skier to win a gold medal in downhill. Not to mention, she doesn’t look to shabby in all those advertisement spreads she’s posed for recently. Her net worth is estimated at $2.5 million but is expected to skyrocket after her recent success in Vancouver.
4.) Ted Ligety– This young gun sports a trucker hat, long hair, and some serious credentials in Alpine skiing. His estimated net worth is around $2 million.
5.) Apolo Ohno– Being the most decorated American athlete in Winter Olympics history makes Mr. Ohno 5th on our list of hautest winter Olympians. This highly decorated speed skater is said to be worth around $1.5 million.
6.) Bode Miller– Widely considered by many as the greatest American Alpine skier of all time, this veteran is one of the many Alpine skiers gracing our list. His estimated worth falls in the neighborhood of $1.3 million. And with his rugged good looks, and recent success, his net worth is expected to drastically increase this fiscal year. That’s if Mr. Miller doesn’t blow all his money on partying.
