Wall Street Gets a Fabulous Addition

Wall Street will soon be getting its very own hotel. Like all things on Wall Street, the hotel will be centered on the monetary-inspired good things in life. No Best Western would do in these parts of Lower Manhattan, no, that would not be sufficient for the usual caliber of people living, working, and visiting the area. So in keeping with the delightful life of luxury that Wall Street inspires, the new hotel coming to town is one of the much-loved Andaz Hotels by Hyatt. If you haven’t before heard of these fabulous boutique hotels, well then quite frankly, I’m shocked. The West Hollywood location has caused a plethora of rave reviews, as well as the London location, also stirring up plenty of praise. So the new Andaz Wall Street, the first New York endeavor for the hotel brand, is sure to do the same once it officially opens on Jan. 18.

The hotel is made up of 253 guestrooms, the smallest ones taking up 345 square feet, thus already giving the hotel the award for having some of the largest hotel rooms in all of New York City. The hotel was designed by David Rockwell and the rest of the Rockwell Group gang, who warmed-up the interior with plenty of rich and saturated colors, natural materials and lots, and lots of space. Some of the rooms even have rotating closets. Hello fabulous-ness! Wall & Water, the hotel’s restaurant, will actually open before the rest of the hotel does, the opening day scheduled for January 25. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and features seasonal cuisine with ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley. There’s also Bar Seven Five, a more relaxed locale offering smaller bar noshes and cocktails galore.

Andaz Wall Street’s gym, spa, and studios-the perfect meeting spaces to discuss your most top secret, important business and personal matters-are all also fabulous. The SPA even uses organic products made locally in New York and Connecticut. If you want a piece of the fabulous kitschy-ness and overall colorful personality of the hotel, reservations can now be made starting at an impressive low price of a simple $275. I can’t think of a more reasonable price to pay for such a tremendous hotel stay in an area of town where $275 is probably equivalent to throwing a penny in a fountain. I mean, it’s the financial district for goodness sakes, think about it. Book your stay now before word spreads and you wind up having to wait for months to enjoy all that is the grand Andaz Wall Street. For more information, click here.
