Trends to Shop for in 2010

Spring/Summer 2010 runways were booming with ideas last year, and although some were outrageously cool or incredibly chic, everyone knows that only a few are day-to-day friendly. Those are the ones that make it to our closets and come out with us on our nights around town. Here are a few runway trends that we’re sure will be hitting all department stores… and our wardrobe.

Donna Karan, Celine, Gucci (shown above), and Narciso Rodriguez were among the designers to make mute colors stand out, with a palette including pale pinks, sand, and stone.

L.A. transplants Chris Benz, Band of Outsiders and 3.1 Phillip Lim all used pajama-style slouchy pant suits, included tapered pleated trousers and tunic-like jackets. They not only look fantastic, but extremely comfortable.
