Tiger Woods Remains Faithful To Building New Home in SoFlo

Tiger Woods, who’s building his and wife Elin Nordegren’s dream home on a $44.5 million Jupiter Island property, filed paperwork in Martin County last month as the controversy of numerous affairs swirled. The two documents show he is vowed to finish construction. At least he’s committed to something.

The notices of commencement filed by Woods’ Orlando attorney Christopher Hubman, included general descriptions of the work to be completed by D&D Constantakos Inc. of Jupiter. The work includes: the main house, impact windows, metal roof, pool, spa, garage, studio, landscaping, and ornamental fencing.

Right after Woods and Nordegren tied the knot in 2005 he started to assemble adjacent properties to form today’s 12-acre estate, which the couple named Sand Turtle. He spent $44.5 million on the land and it is estimated he has spent well in excess of $10 million on ripping down the existing homes and building his castle. Woods’ bombshell wife designed the mansion, 9,000 luxurious square feet of living quarters, and an equally large gym connected by a glass hallway. The commencement paperwork indicates construction is expected to be complete in October.
