Now known as the “Ferrari of Kings” due to its popularity with aristocrats and heads of state, the 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Series I Coupé Aerodinamico is on sale during Bonhams’ Retromobile auction in Paris on January 23. It is expected to sell for about $1.5 million or probably more. The Superamerica Series I was created by Enzo Ferrari and Battista Pininfarina for the introduction at the 1961 Geneva Salon, and quickly became one of the most popular Ferraris ever made.
