Serving Up The Dish’s Dish… At Home!

It’s common courtesy, really.  If you’re cooking for yourself, you’re allowed to be as picky as can be with your food.  If someone else is doing the cooking for you, however, be prepared to get over your fear of putting both peanut butter and jelly on the same slice of bread.  Also, it’s considered bad taste to ask that someone else cut off your crusts.  Until now! If you sometimes forget which is the stove and which is the oven, leave your daily meals to The Dish’s Dish.

Here’s how it works.  First you submit a checklist detailing your likes, dislikes (i.e. yes to plain white toast, no to brussel sprouts), allergies, and other preferences.  From there, the Dish’s Dish creates a custom menu fit for you and only you – even if you’re a macrobiotic vegan, a staunch carnivore, or a raw foods fanatic.  Then, you organize a time that works with your schedule for your “Culinista” to come and cook in your home, after going grocery shopping, of course.

Here’s the best part.  Unlike The Zone Diet deliveries, your Culinista will cook for 2 – 4 hours in your kitchen (that room you barely go into) whether you’re home or not.  They’ll make 6 – 8 dishes that are interchangeable for the course of a week!

Invite a date over, toss out the labeled bins your Culinista left behind for you, find an apron, and voila! You’ll look like you slaved all day.  Sample menus include Mushroom Soup with Hazelnut Gremolata, Salt-Baked Shrimp with Mango Salsa, and Greek Salad with Artisan Feta and Caper Vinaigrette.  We can hear the whines of picky eaters all over town waning already.
