Opening Date for The Trump SoHo Hotel Moved

Those looking to scurry to the ultra-lux Trump SoHo Hotel must wait a little longer. Set to debut in less than two weeks, Trump SoHo’s general manager David Chase confirms that February 1st is no longer the opening date for the hyped up hotel condominium. The building, which began construction in 2006 is the first luxury hotel condominium in SoHo. With amenities ranging from spa, outdoor pool, in-chef penthouses, high-end restaurant, over 12,000 square feet of banquet space, state-of-the art fitness center and more it’s no wonder Trump SoHo Hotel is currently in the process of hiring up to 380 staff members. Lack of staff? Perhaps this could be the reason the hotel won’t be opening its shiny bronzed doors in a few weeks. Located on Spring and Varick Streets, the hotel is also putting the finishing touches on the interior (the hotel is the only in NYC featuring furnishing by Fendi Casa). The Rockwell Group designed property is just steps away from world-class galleries and restaurants, the 46-story glass tower includes 391 stunning guestrooms starting at $599 starting on March 1st. No new date has been re-issued as of now.
