BubbleQ is Back for the Food Festival Enthusiasts

The holidays may be over, but thank goodness the parties never stop in the Magic City. We barely got done breathing in the fumes from the fireworks when it became time to start planning for our Super Bowl parties. After doing our end zone dance, and then celebrating sweet romance with a honey for Valentine’s Day at one of our Haute 5 Romantic Restaurants, we will then gear up for one of our most favorite events, The Food Network’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival, taking place from February 25-28.

Last year’s BubbleQ event was one of the most anticipated and we received word today on who some participants will be for this year:

John Gray Restaurant Group’s owner and Chef John Gray and Executive Chef Karl Mayhofler will participate in the Perrier-Jouët Champagne BubbleQ hosted by Emeril Lagasse at the 2010 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The BubbleQ, featuring some of the world’s best BBQ paired with delicious Perrier-Jouët Champagne, will take place beachside at the Delano Hotel on February 26, 2010 and will feature some of America’s most celebrated chefs who love to BBQ. As a participating chef of the Perrier Jouët Champagne BubbleQ and the festival’s only chef representing Mexico, Chef Gray plans to serve his signature creation of Grilled Duck Breast with a Chipotle, Tequila and Honey reduction and sweet potatoes.
