Glenn Beck Lists New Canaan Home for $3,999,000

Straight-talking, provocative television host Glenn Beck has listed his family home in New Canaan, CT,  home for $3,999,000.

Glenn Beck certainly stirs up plenty of controversy on television with his no-nonsense attitude and extremely provocative (high ratings) approach to getting his opinion across, but this news surrounding Beck is somewhat of a more softer tone, as it takes place in the beautiful New Canaan neighborhood of Connecticut.

Beck has just listed his 8,720-square-foot home for just under $4 million. The price may seem reasonable, but it’s actually a small loss for Beck who purchased the 2.87 acre property with his wife, Tania, back in December of 2005 for $4,250,000.  According to Forbes, Beck pulled in approximately $23 million in 2008, and is expected to pull the same or more this year—so it’s likely that no tears are being shed in the Beck home over the $250,000 loss.

The four-story Colonial style home features six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three half bathrooms, garage parking for four cars, four fireplaces, a finished walk-out basement, a second floor laundry room, and a finished attic space. The surrounding property is full of tress and meticulously maintained lawns, white fencing, and an in-ground pool and spa.
