On December 3, Fred Segal hosted a star-studded green holiday charity event, Gifts Giving Back: A sustainable shopping event celebrating glamorously green gift-giving. The event was hosted by actress Rachael Leigh Cook and benefitted the Toys for Tots charity.
The evening was a luxury holiday shopping event designed to celebrate and encourage glamorously green gift-giving over the holidays, and to bring attention to luxury fashion brands that exemplify chic yet sustainable living.
The charity event, which took place on Madison at Fred Segal, directly benefitted Toys for Tots, and more than 500 toys were donated. Mini makeovers were done by Tarte Cosmetics while solar-powered DJ Ref Brown provided the music. Anna Getty also signed copies of her book, I’m Dreaming of a Green Holiday for guests.
The evening began with a VIP/red carpet arrival at 6:30pm with other guests joining at 7pm.
