Pauly Shore Goes Head to Head with Jerry Seinfeld

Comedian Pauly Shore was in South Florida last week and he showed up unexpectedly at a private polo match at Wellington’s International Polo Club.

Commenting on the polo match, which was reportedly his first, Shore sarcastically said, “Yeah, that looks like something I’m going to take up when I get home.” Ok, so clearly Shore doesn’t share my (and many others) enthusiasm for polo, but polo wasn’t the real reason behind his recent trip to Florida.

Shore was in West Palm Beach to do a comedy weekend at the Improv comedy club at CityPlace. Little did he know, mega-comedian Jerry Seinfeld, was also in town and also performing but in a different comedy club, the Kravis. When Shore was informed of the head-to-head comedy battle, he said, “Oh really? Well, Seinfeld’s the man. But then, I’m the man too!”

Audiences were able to decide for themselves who was, in fact, “the man” over the weekend as they headed over to Kravis, or Improv to enjoy the shows.
