Haute Accessory: Leica M7 Edition Hermès

There is a new digital camera that is about to hit the high-end market and it is truly a piece of art. The Leica M7 Edition Hermès costs a pretty $14, 300 so while it may not exactly be your first choice for a stocking stuffer this Christmas, it certainly is something worth considering for that fashionable photographer in your life.

Designed by the wonderfully magical French fashion house Hermès, this exclusive edition of Leica UK’s classic 35 mm rangefinder system camera is limited to only 200. There will be 100 in the trade mark Hermès orange and another 100 in a green called “etoupe.”

In addition to its exclusivity, the company has reported that the top plate will be engraved with the Leica name in classic script, because they removed the traditional red Leica logo to “preserve the color harmony of the leather covering.”

The back of the camera is said to be finished in silver chrome, and the Hermès editions have all been manufactured exclusively in metal. The beautiful and fashionable haute accessory will be available in the UK in the month of December.
