Walking into “my new favorite” store FRETTE was just like stepping onto a bed of clouds—beds made of silk and lace, that is! I should have known just from the 799 Madison Ave. address that I was in for a real treat; however, nothing could have prepared me for such luxury and sophistication.
Now I have to say, I always look forward to coming home after a long day at the office and “hitting the sheets”, but FRETTE takes me to a whole new level of relaxation. With its “anything but ordinary” 2010 Spring/Summer Collection, FRETTE brings the spirit of the good life home! You will be indulged by the feeling of warmth and seduction. The many patterns and textures are found from inspiration of over 150 years of “success and exceptional creativity”. The fine linens were just one of the things that caught my eye—the “fuzzy” slippers were another. I pictured myself curled up by a fireplace wrapped in the winter white cashmere sweater with mink collar, donning my mink slippers while drinking a glass of port. I have to admit, it made me want to skip the rest of my day and head straight to bed.
