Not too long ago, our Haute Cover Girl Eva Longoria Parker kicked off the first rally for kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup in Miami on Friday October 16 at the The Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. Eva Longoria Parker got engines revved, along with Lennox Lewis, Eva La Rue, Vivica A. Fox and Adam Rodriguez, who were among the 21 Celebrities who were rallying on November 20th and 21st to benefit Jackson Memorial Foundation, International Kids Fund (IKF) and Holtz Children’s Hospital.
The Rally for Kids with Cancer is where celebrity navigators and drivers maneuvered through seven unique pit stops throughout the Miami area earning points in their quest to raise funds to help Jackson Memorial Foundation, International Kids Fund (IKF) and Holtz Children’s Hospital and provided hope that one day the end to cancer can be celebrated.

“The Qualifiers” Celebrity Draft Party
The Rally kicked off with an exclusive cocktail party, “The Qualifiers” Celebrity Draft Party where every driver had the opportunity to draft a Celebrity Navigator. It was held on Friday November 20th, 2009 at Casa de Sueños (Loren and J.R. Ridinger’s Private Residence)
“Start Your Engines” Brunch
The “Start Your Engines” Brunch started the Scavenger Cup Rally. On Saturday, November 21st, the participants at the Eden Rock Renaissance received a Driver’s Manual filled with maps, tips and their first clue. Drivers earned all-access status to the worlds of sports, food, media, entertainment, travel and fashion in up to seven unique pit stops throughout the Miami area. Eva Longoria Parker dropped the checkered flag (shown above) at 11:30am to signal the start of the Rally.
“The Winner’s Circle” Gala Dinner
The final lap of the Rally on the 21st was “The Winner’s Circle” Gala Dinner. Rally Drivers, Celebrity Navigators, sponsors and invited guests reveled in memories from the past two days while enjoying an incredible dinner, first-class entertainment, live auction and awards ceremony.
