Haute Living Miami Is All About Style

With Funkshion Fashion Week Miami Beach all wrapped up, we find our need for a fashion fix left unattended, like the needs of a scorned lover. Never fear style mavens of Miami! The luxe designs found on the inside pages of the November/December issue mean there will never be a need to detox from designer labels.

From Hermes to Armani and the boutiques of Merrick Park, the shopping guide “Material Girls” includes some of the most creative cuts featured in the 2009 winter resort collections. Also, go behind the scenes at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2010 at Bryant Park for sneak previews of what we can expect to see in the stores when the season springs. Even though Bal Harbour favorites like Carolina Herrara and Diane von Furstenberg showed stunning silhouettes, Haute Living photographer Steven B. Ekerovich reveals who the real scene-stealer was on the runways.

Readers can also find more pages of inspiring designs from accomplished photographer Tatijana Shoan. In “Gilded Camilia” we played dress up with model Camila Alves at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and outfitted the sultry stylista in some of the most elegant eveningwear from the Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2009 collection, as well as standouts from Stuart Weitzman, Vera Wang, and Monique Lhuillier.

Delivering page after page of fashion odes, the issue is one of our most glamorous to date.
