Travelers can now take Four Seasons with them wherever planes, trains, automobiles or even feet may carry them with a new iPhone/iPod touch application.  Live today and downloadable free of charge from Apple’s iTunes app store, the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts app was created in conjunction with leading personal technology company Apple to meet guest demand for both a functional booking portal and gateway to mini “escapes” while on the go.

An extension of the brand’s increasingly robust interactive marketing endeavours which include the recent launch of, a Four Seasons channel on YouTube as well as corporate and individual hotel Twitter feeds, the application provides both long-time fans and aspiring loyalists a Four Seasons experience beyond the walls of its hotels and resorts.

Four Seasons research and website visitor comments have shown that in addition to checking for hotel availability and property locations, a leading reason to visit was to view hotel videos and photo libraries.  These images transport visitors to dynamic and exotic Four Seasons hotels and resorts around the world, providing a ‘virtual’ vacation.  The new application will build on this user resource, allowing for the simple pleasure to become even more mobile.

The application has three main functions:

•    Find a Room – Confirm availability at over 80 Hotels or Resorts worldwide; the application connects the user directly to the Four Seasons website for easy booking while a reservations agent can be reached via phone with just a tap.

•    Plan to Relax – Access spa menus from hotels and resorts around the world to find the perfect treatment; users are instantly connected to the spa of their choice to book an appointment through the click of the “call” button.

•    Embark on a Virtual Vacation – Tour properties from Bora Bora to Paris to Santa Barbara and enjoy a little escape with just the swipe of a finger.
