With the divorce rate in America rising to more than 50 percent, it was only a matter of time before the beautiful marriage between Brent Bolthouse and Sam Nazarian came to a state of dissolution.

Nazarian, an Haute Living Los Angeles cover subject and member of L.A.’s Haute 100, teamed up with Bolthouse back in 2005 for the creation of SBE Entertainment Group. The boys have been hard at work throughout the last four years, exploding L.A.’s restaurant and club scene. Their hospitality and nightlife projects have included the SLS Hotel, The Abbey, Hyde Lounge, Chef Michael Mina’s XIV, and Haute Living’s own Chef Katsuya’s brand of sushi hotspots, designed by Philippe Starck.

On Tuesday, Bolthouse confirmed reports that the glory days are over and he has parted ways with SBE. As of now, future plans are to continue running the show at Bolthouse Productions with longtime business partner Jenifer Rosero. Bolthouse and his production company may have remained only a local L.A. celebrity, were it not for reality personality Heidi Montag who worked for Bolthouse while acting on MTV’s The Hills. Most recently Bolthouse Productions was involved hosting a pre-Emmy bash for Family Guy.
