This timepiece from Audemars Piguet’s Jules Audemars collection combines two in-house specialties: the minute repeater and jumping hours. The watch uses cutting edge technology to accommodate the relatively large movement and the complex striking mechanism within the 43-mm diameter. A sapphire crystal caseback enables one to admire the hand-wound Caliber 2907 with 412 parts and its balance beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The strap is a hand-sewn alligator leather with large square scales, and the folder clasp is available in gold or platinum. Its opaline base is adorned with a minute track and applied blue Arabic numerals. The hour aperture has a disc that jumps instantly from one figure to another every 60 minutes, distinguished by a beveled opening. The watch has a manual wound movement with a 70-hour power reserve.
