Miami Art: Wynwood Gallery Night—Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Closing Party

Gary Nader cordially invites you to come to the closing of the exhibition Celebrate Hispanic Heritage: Important works by Latin American Masters and Contemporary Artists this Saturday, November 8th from 7 to 10 pm at Gary Nader fine art. The exhibition showcases a great selection of works (paintings, drawings and sculpture) by such major Latin American artists as Alfonso, Amaral, Asis, Atchugarry, Barradas, Bedia, Bermudez, Botero, Bravo, Bruzzone, Caballero, Caldas, Camargo, Canovas, Capelan, Capellan, Cardenas, Carreño, Carrington, Chab, Clark,Cruz Diez, Cuevas, Enriqeuz, Esnoz, Figari, Galan, Gamarra, Grau, Goeritz, Goldfarb, Gonzalez, Guayasamin, Iturria, Kahlo, Kcho, Kingman, Kosice, Kuitca, Lam, Larraz, Leirner, Mariño, Matta, Mendive, Merida, Morales, Muñiz, Muñoz Vera, Negret, Neto, Obregon, Oiticica, Pape, Peláez, Pettoruti, Polesello, Portinari, Portocarrero, Quintana, Reveron, Rivera, Rodriguez, Romañach, Sanchez, Scheimberg, Segui, Senise, Siqueiros, Soto, Tamayo, Toledo, Trujillo, Torres Garcia, Villanueva, Zeno, Zuñiga. The show included a large selection of Botero’s latest drawings dedicated to the world of the circus. Botero is an admirer of Mexican circus and manages to capture its charm, characters and colors with skill and humor thought his signature pieces that portray rotund figures with exaggerated proportions. The exhibition also brings a selection of paintings by Cuban Master Wifredo Lam that exposes his fertile career from the Cubist forms to Surrealist imagery linked to Afro-Cuban myths. “Celebrate Hispanic Heritage” compliments the growing international interest in Latin American art as reflected in recent museum exhibitions, auction activity and contemporary collecting, and continue the gallery’s commitment to promoting and offering important works of Latin American art.
