Stone Temple Pilots’ Scott Weiland Selling Los Angeles Home

Ex-velvet Revolver front man, Scott Weiland (who has recently gone back on tour with Stone Temple Pilots), is trying to get $2.25 million for his Sherman Oaks digs. The spacious and bright Sutton Street confines cover 3,399 square feet. At it’s core the house has 3 beds and 3 and a half baths. There’s also a detached guesthouse with a full bath. Chic and lavishly upgraded to plush, there’s a big, white, gourmet kitchen with premium stainless steel appliances, along with living and dining rooms. The luxurious master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, as well as a spa-like master bath with fireplace. The private backyard features a pool to slither in, an outdoor deck and a large grassy area. An expansive outdoor living area is park-like, designed for entertaining like a rock star. Property records show he and his model wife, Mary Forsberg, bought the place a little over a year ago from Lipstick Jungle actress Lindsay Price for $2.1 mill. This was just about when Forsberg went a little trippin’ on a hole in a paper heart nutty (they’re both reported to be bi-polar)-the sour girl held an impromptu creep bbq on the front lawn…fueled by thousands of dollars worth of the multiple Grammy winner’s clothes (although it’s unclear whether it was at this house or if she fell to pieces at another location, in Toluca Lake). Property records show that in June of 2008 Mister Weiland forked over $1,300,000 for a much more modest house on Ethel Street in a much less expensive section of Sherman Oaks.
