More than 75 guests attended the invitation-only event and enjoyed a lovely buffet brunch, wine tasting of Alma Rosa wines, and two action-packed polo games, which included both the consolation and the finals of the USPA America Cup.

The casually chic crowd included Elizabeth Skene; Ambassador Glen Holden with his wife Gloria; Dr. and Mrs. Allan Wilson and daughter Reba; HUB International’s Grace Neuman and James Merriman; Karina and Bob Wooley; Julie Greener; Clarisa and Wesley Ru; Los Angeles brokers Joyce Rey, Mo Abourched and Tamiko Mosley; and Mark Scoggins of Magic Johnson Enterprises.

Hosts included Capella Hotels & Resorts’ John Drake and Haute Living’s Angela Santopinto along with developers of Capella Residences Bahia Maroma including Carlos Tommasi of Mexico City, Sergio Peschard, and Kent Gaydos with ING Clarion Partners.
