The result is that each item created is not so much a piece of glass with a diamond in it, but a beautifully constructed work of art, sculpted to perfection.

You cannot put a price tag on sophistication. It is a feeling, an air of confidence, which radiates from the core of a person. And while that confidence is priceless, having the right accessories while in pursuit of that je ne sais quoi certainly helps.

Diamonds in Glass is working to promote that confidence by combining the austere and simplistic beauty of handblown glass with the pure joyfulness of diamonds. Simply stated, the glamour and finesse provided by the uniting of diamonds with handblown glass to create unmatched stemware is unparalleled. Innovative thought matched with old world glamour has brought this company to the forefront of affluent living and it is quickly becoming common knowledge that Dom Pérignon Rosé 1996 just isn’t the same unless it’s in a worthy glass.

Natascha Marx, CEO and founder of Diamonds in Glass, teamed with designer and glass blower Tobias Berger to create a company specially designed to help provide an enhanced aesthetic appreciation for some of the finer things in life. The result is that each item created is not so much a piece of glass with a diamond in it, but a beautifully constructed work of art, sculpted to perfection. Using mainly borosilicate, a type of glass distinguished by its high resistance to acids and heat, each item is fitted with a diamond and then intricately shaped without the use of a template.

There is an impressive amount of variation within the collections, which includes: red wine, white wine, water, and champagne glasses, which, upon request, can be constructed from lead crystal glass; ashtrays; napkin rings; cuff links; key rings; and the pinnacle of all the collections: the Imperial Champagne glass. Sold for roughly $97,000 per piece, the Imperial is plated with 6.34 ounces of gold and 8.1 carats of diamonds.

Ultimately, Diamonds in Glass understands the unexplainable human taste for sumptuous consumption, and furthermore, they cater to it, altering precise techniques to satisfy the needs of customers who request initials or symbols engraved onto their set of customized glasses. This act of specialization provides merely the icing on the top of an impressive model of elegance and glamor. Diamonds in Glass is open for business and ready to take on the world, one dinner party at a time.
