Yves Saint Laurent design to grace caviar tins

Eating caviar in style – as if that weren’t possible – is now much easier, thanks to new tins of caviar with an artistic touch. Caviar House and Prunier has joined forces with Yves Saint Laurent to introduce a 125-gram tin of caviar, housed in a tin with a unique design by the world-famous design house.

With U.S. stores in Beverly Hills, New York, and Bal Harbour – among other locations – Yves Saint Laurent has a heavy U.S. presence, but these designer tins will only be available from Harrod’s of London, and they’ll only be available until February 2008. They’re on sale for 295 pounds (that’s about $600), and the collective hope of Yves Saint Laurent and Caviar House and Prunier is that art will never have tasted so good.

The caviar tins would make for an excellent gift this holiday season, and we at Haute Living would openly suggest that, while you’re treating others to gifts, you might as well give yourself a little, luxurious treat as well.
