Haute Developments

Basile Builders Group is no novice when it comes to transforming neighborhoods. The privately held real estate construction and development company boasts a diverse background in rebuilding-and complimenting-many neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn. Next in line for Basile Builder’s ongoing renaissance? Windsor Terrace, a quiet old-world community nestled in the heart of Brooklyn. Basile Builders will stimulate growth and diversity to this region, thanks to the adding of stylish and elegant living. The new Windsor Terrace will be home to sound, architecturally distinctive modern developments, bringing luxurious Manhattan-style living into Brooklyn.

In the spring of 2006, The Simone-a smart, newly designed 35-unit development at 35 McDonald Avenue-began to cause a buzz in the community. The Basile Builders Group began building a sleek glass and steel luxury condominium development that offers substance and class. The units, which range from $289k-$999k, feature plenty of open areas and expansive rooms, many of which boast private gardens and terraces. Luxury amenities such as Euro-styled stainless hardware, marble countertops, dark oak cabinetry, and glass tiling make this a much-coveted living environment.

Adjacent to this building, at 11 Terrace Place, a three-story sister building is being erected. 11 Terrace Place offers similar amenities as seen in The Simone, such as Kohler and Grohe fixtures, additional storage, and parking. At Prospect and 11th Avenue, an 18-unit development fittingly named Prospect Row will offer elegance similar to the aforementioned properties, with luxurious Anne Sacks tiles, stainless steel appliances, spacious balconies and parking.

Basile Builders is also bringing loft-style living back to Tribeca, constructing three boutique buildings, located at 55 Vestry, 408 Greenwich, and 78 Laight Street, respectively. Basile Builders Group is also busy adding multiple luxury developments throughout the boroughs of Manhattan and Queens, helping the great city of New York evolve one neighborhood at a time.

48 Bond

48 Bond, a new boutique condominium building now rising in the heart of NoHo’s historic district, is set to offer understated elegance at a coveted downtown address. Located on one of Manhattan’s only remaining cobblestone streets, 48 Bond captures the authenticity of NoHo, while adding a new level of high design.

“We feel that we’ve captured the unique nature of Bond Street with these residences,” said Romy Goldman of Gold Development, who is developing 48 Bond in partnership with Donald Capoccia.

Award-winning designer and Yale professor, Deborah Berke of Deborah Berke & Partners Architects LLP, has teamed up with David E. Gross of GF55 Partners LLP, to design her first residential condominium building.

Once completed in fall 2007, the 11-story ground-up residential building will house 14 two-bedroom, two-bath residences and three penthouses, ranging in size from 1,550 square feet to 3,661 square feet. Apartments will start at $2 million. All of the loft-style spaces will feature built-in offices and some a balcony or terrace.

“Prospective residents looking for an intimate residence that boasts such amenities as an on-site concierge, a 60-foot salt-filtered lap pool, and gym, should look no further than 48 Bond Street,” said Robert McCain, Senior Vice President of Stribling Marketing Associates.

The modern and expansive residences at 48 Bond will feature an abundance of light and air, dramatic oversized windows, soaring 10-foot ceilings, walnut floors, walk-in closets and washer/dryers. All the residences are designed to accommodate the most sophisticated home theater and audio systems, as well as outfitted for motorized blinds.
